Nigel Mead started his TV career in 2002 when he presented and performed magic on Nickelodeon's live afternoon show. He has also interviewed many stars, including Bon Jovi, Dido and Coldplay.
In 2003, he was approached by The Discovery Network to create and perform a show for their Kids Channel. The result 'Get Tricky' proved to be a great success and continues to be aired to this day. It also led to Nigel presenting The Discovery Channel's Nationwide Roadshow.
In 2005, Nigel featured as the main mentor in a 90 minute special of multi award-winning show, 'Faking It'. The challenge was to transform a Scottish forensic scientist, who'd never appeared in front of a crowd, into a confident stage magician.
2005 saw Nigel in a brand new series for Channel 4's youth strand, T4. 'Freaky' is contemporary street magic performed on unsuspecting members of the public and shows us some of Nigel's most imaginative work to date.
In 2008 Nigel acted as consultant on the cult TV show SKINS.
As well as his TV work, Nigel's remains as passionate about live performance as ever and he can be seen at events all around the world.
